By breathing new life into an existing home and utilizing local subcontractors and suppliers, this project “walks the talk” in many aspects of sustainability. Formerly neglected, this home was transformed into a model for green building practices. Awarded the City of Healdsburg’s first “Certificate of Compliance” under the city’s Green Building Program, it’s on a downtown infill lot, and built with numerous salvaged and recycled materials, without compromising on details or style.
